The Tokyo Series collection was Murakami's first collaboration with a championship-winning team. The Murakami motif now appears on Dodgers World Series champions merchandise, including t-shirts and a hooded sweatshirt releasing Friday, Nov. 7. The special edition features the 2025 World Series champions emblem, multicolored smiling flowers, and "DODGERS" in Japanese Katakana. Murakami congratulated the team, described Game 7 as thrilling and moving, and said he cried. The collection will be sold at Dodger Stadium, at the MLB flagship in New York, and online beginning at 1 p.m. PT on Nov. 7.
