Hot Yankees send message to Blue Jays, Red Sox after another win
Briefly

Ten minutes after a 10-4 Yankees win that included three homers and tied an MLB mark of 33 homers in 10 games, Jazz Chisholm declared the team wants the division. The Yankees improved to 12-4 following a 20-31 stretch from June 13 to Aug. 10. The club trails the Red Sox by a half-game and the Blue Jays by four with 31 days and 28 games remaining. The Yankees went 11-1 during the hot streak against several losing teams but face a difficult stretch against the Astros, Blue Jays, Tigers and Red Sox before finishing with games against last-place opponents. Cody Bellinger expressed confidence in the pitching, bullpen and lineup.
CHICAGO - Ten minutes after the final out to a historic Yankees win on the Southside of Chicago, a 10-4 White Sox slaying Thursday night that included three more homers to make it an MLB record-tying 33 in 10 games, second baseman Jazz Chisholm made it clear that the two teams ahead of his in the AL East standings are in their crosshairs.
"We're never satisfied with second place or third place," Chisholm said. "We just lost the World Series last year. That's second place and we still weren't satisfied. So I don't think we're going to be satisfied coming in second or third. That would be even more upsetting than losing the World Series. So right now it's just like we're going to go out there and win that (division), and then we're going to win the World Series."
