"Spring Training will arrive before we know it. On February 21, the Nationals will kick off their Spring Training with a split-club day of baseball. One game will be played against the Cardinals in Jupiter, Florida, and the other will have the Nationals hosting the Astros at home in their split stadium, CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches. That place is going to be jam-packed with daily baseball for about a month, and it will surely make for a good visit."
"When it was founded, the ballpark was actually called the "Ballpark of the Palm Beaches." The new name? This became reality in 2024 when Travis Scott, the famous rapper, gained sponsorship rights. This is because his Spiked Seltzer brand, "CACTI Hard Seltzer," has earned those rights. This aligns with his alternate stage name, "Cactus Jack," as Scott is a native of Texas."
"This start-of-the-art venue broke ground in 2015 and subsequently opened to the public in 2017. This was a joint effort by the Astros and Nationals ownership to reduce costs and build an elite sports complex. In a joint partnership between the two clubs, the project was completed at an estimated cost of nearly $150 Million. It is not only a beautiful ballpark, but a modern, vast 16-acre sports complex."
CACTI Park opened to the public in 2017 after breaking ground in 2015 as a joint Astros–Nationals effort to reduce costs and build an elite sports complex. The project cost nearly $150 Million and spans a modern 16-acre complex with a main stadium, eight baseball fields, and five bermudagrass multi-sport fields. The stadium originally carried the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches name and was renamed CACTI Park in 2024 after sponsorship rights were acquired by Travis Scott's CACTI Hard Seltzer. The venue hosts extensive daily Spring Training baseball and additional sports facilities, including a nearby golf facility called "The Park."
