Gavin Lux was drafted by the Dodgers in the first round in 2016 and debuted with the team in 2019. He helped the Dodgers win two World Series championships before being traded to the Cincinnati Reds this offseason. Lux batted .269 with a career-best 53 RBIs during the regular season. Cincinnati dropped five of six games to the Dodgers this year, which Lux cited as motivation. Lux expressed gratitude for a decade with the Dodgers but said he is focused on advancing in October. Lux was not in the starting lineup Tuesday against left-hander Blake Snell.
