"Late on Wednesday evening, Jeff Passan reported that former Blue Jay farmhand Zach Logue has re-signed with Korean Baseball Organization's Doosan Bears, the team he spent the 2025 season with. Last season with the Bears, Logue had a 2.81 ERA and 3.22 FIP in 176 innings pitched, with a 21.6 K% and 5.4 BB%. Among qualified pitchers in the KBO, Logue's ERA ranked as the fifth-best."
"He pitched in 30.2 innings after the draft, where he had a 1.47 ERA and 2.27 FIP. Overall the next three seasons, Logue was solid, but became a prospect worth monitoring in 2021. Beginning the post-pandemic season with the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Logue had a 4.54 ERA and 3.51 FIP in seven starts, seeing his K% jump to 35.9% while his BB% of 4.9% was the best of his career."
Zach Logue re-signed with the Doosan Bears of the Korean Baseball Organization after a 2025 season with a 2.81 ERA, 3.22 FIP, 176 innings, 21.6% strikeout rate and 5.4% walk rate, ranking fifth in ERA among qualified KBO pitchers. The soft-tossing left-hander was a ninth-round pick by Toronto in 2017 and produced strong minor-league results, including a 35.9% K% split at Double-A in 2021. He was traded to Oakland for Matt Chapman, made his major-league debut in 2022, and reached Detroit and Los Angeles thereafter, compiling a 7.20 ERA in 70 MLB innings.
