Dodgers Starting Rotation Revealed for Entire NLDS vs Phillies
"We're thinking about Snell then Yamamoto," Roberts said during Friday's media availability in Philadelphia."
""Just having the ability for Glas to be available for Game 1 is huge," Roberts said, "and then pitch a potential Game 4 is also huge.""
""He'll be on the roster," Roberts said of Kershaw. "He's gonna be out of the 'pen and used as such.""
Shohei Ohtani will start Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Blake Snell is the likely Game 2 starter, followed by Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 3 at Dodger Stadium. Tyler Glasnow is slated to start Game 4 and could be available out of the bullpen in Game 1 if needed. Glasnow is expected to be scheduled to pitch on Thursday if necessary. Clayton Kershaw will be on the NLDS roster and available as a reliever out of the bullpen. A Game 5 starter has not been named but would likely be Ohtani.
