Yamamoto posted a 12-8 record with a 2.49 ERA across 30 starts amid prolonged stretches of limited run support. Paul Skenes led the majors with a 1.97 ERA and recorded 216 strikeouts. Cristopher Sánchez emerged as the Phillies’ ace, finishing 13-5 with a 2.50 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 212 strikeouts in 32 starts. Postseason performance did not factor into Cy Young voting.
