Dodgers News: Will Klein Excited For 2026 Season
""I'm excited. I mean, I think we should just start the season now," he said. "The offseason has flown by, but I'm excited to get back out there with these guys and get the season rolling.""
""Oh yeah, I felt great. The next week I felt terrible, but now it feels great," he said. "Yeah, I'm ready to go""
Will Klein arrived in Los Angeles via a June 2 trade from the Seattle Mariners and split time between the majors and Triple-A Oklahoma City. He posted a 2.35 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 12.33 strikeouts per nine across 15.1 major-league innings. Klein complements an electric high-90s fastball with a curveball but struggled with command, allowing 5.87 walks per nine with the Dodgers, an improvement from 7.36 BB/9 in the minors and a 6.85 career mark. He threw 72 pitches in Game 3 of the 2025 World Series, fully recovered, and plans to compete for a bullpen spot in 2026 Spring Training.
