Dodgers' Miguel Rojas Sends Message to LA Fans
""I'm so excited to be back for next year, what would be the last year of my playing career," Rojas said. "I can't wait to play in front of you all, once again, at Dodger Stadium every single night with one goal on our mind, which is winning another championship and being able to three-peat in front of you all. Thank you very much for the support through all of the years, and I can't wait to see you in Spring Training.""
"He had a subpar season with the bat in 2023, but hit his stride and became an important role player for LA in 2024. Rojas kept a 111 OPS+ that season, hitting six home runs and recording 36 RBIs with a .283/.337/.410 slash line through 103 games."
"His best moment of the season, though, came in Game 7 of the World Series. Rojas stepped up to the plate with one out in the top of the ninth inning while the Dodgers trailed by one, and hit the biggest home run of his career so far to knot the game at four and send it to extra innings. The Dodgers went on to win the game, cementing Rojas' name in Dodgers folklore."
Miguel Rojas signed a one-year, $5.5 million contract to return to the Los Angeles Dodgers and expects the upcoming season to be his final year. Rojas began his major-league career with Los Angeles in 2014, was traded to the Miami Marlins for eight seasons, and returned to the Dodgers before 2023. After a weak 2023 at the plate, Rojas produced a strong 2024 with a 111 OPS+, six home runs and 36 RBIs across 103 games, and remained league average in 2025. Rojas hit a pivotal Game 7 World Series ninth-inning home run that forced extra innings and helped secure the championship. The 36-year-old provides veteran depth as Los Angeles pursues a franchise three-peat in 2026.
