The Dodgers held multiple community events on the second day of their 2026 Love L.A. Community Tour, beginning with a grocery distribution at Christy's Foundation in Northridge with alumni Billy Ashley, Ken Landreaux, and Dennis Powell handing out groceries and essentials to local families. In the afternoon, alumni Matt Luke and Dennis Powell visited Hollydale Elementary School in South Gate for the Playworks Recess Takeover focused on eighth graders with movement-based programming to encourage interaction and reduce social barriers. The weeklong tour runs Jan. 26–30 with 11 stops, featuring veteran and family support and partnerships such as Bank of America.
