Sammy Peralta, a left-handed reliever, was claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee Brewers from the Los Angeles Angels. Peralta broke into the major leagues with the Chicago White Sox and recorded a 4.37 ERA over 35 relief innings in 2023–24. He elected minor-league free agency after the 2024 season and began 2025 in the Mexican League. The Angels signed him to a minor-league deal in May and called him up in September.
