The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs 3-1 in the decisive Game 5 to win their NL Division Series. Contributions came from Andrew Vaughn, William Contreras and Brice Turang, while Trevor Megill, Jacob Misiorowski, Aaron Ashby, Chad Patrick and Abner Uribe combined on a four-hitter. Uribe recorded six outs for his first multi-inning save. The Brewers made their seventh playoff appearance in eight years and finished the regular season 97-65, the best record in the majors. The team will face the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS starting Monday in Milwaukee.
