Gwinnett Stripers triumphed over Indianapolis Indians 8-4 after extra innings, propelled by a grand slam from Matthew Batten. The Stripers offense finally woke up, scoring three runs in the top of the sixth inning, all coming via home runs.
Offense was hard to come by for Columbus in this one, as the Clingstones managed just one run on four hits in the loss.
