He amassed a .346/.433/.561 slash line with 12 doubles, 14 home runs, and 60 RBIs while walking more than he struck out (35 vs. 27). Davalan also added 10 stolen bases with a .994 OPS. Davalan earned First Team All-SEC, ABCA/Rawlings All-American Second Team, and NCBWA All-American (Second Team) honours, amongst numerous others, during his lone season."
Charles Davalan is a left-handed hitting outfielder who was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in Competitive Balance A of the 2025 first round. He developed at Academie Baseball Canada and TNXL Academy, then committed to Florida Gulf Coast University, where he slashed .288/.413/.514 with 16 doubles, 10 homers, 13 stolen bases and a .927 OPS. He played summer ball in the Cape Cod League before transferring to Arkansas, where he hit .346/.433/.561 with 14 homers, 60 RBIs, 10 steals and a .994 OPS, earning multiple All-American and All-SEC honors. A missed catch in the College World Series semifinals was a notable moment.
