A right-handed pitcher was reinstated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land. The 40-man roster vacancy created when Tayler Scott was designated for assignment earlier in the week has been filled. Outfielder Taylor Trammell was placed on the 10-day injured list with a cervical muscle strain. Infielder Brice Matthews was recalled as the corresponding roster move.
