He struck out 22 of 95 batters faced but had a low 6.6% swinging-strike rate. He has a multi-pitch repertoire led by a 95.1 mph fastball and has posted stronger results in Triple-A, including a combined 3.32 ERA across five seasons. With Houston’s bullpen struggling, another MLB opportunity could come if he performs well in Sugar Land.
