The Angels removed two infielders from their roster and outrighted both to Triple-A Salt Lake. Carter Kieboom and Logan Davidson cleared waivers before being sent to Salt Lake. Davidson experienced his first career outright and, lacking the service time or previous outright that would allow refusal, accepted the assignment. Kieboom had been outrighted by the Nationals in March 2024, which gave him the contractual right to decline another outright. Kieboom exercised that right and elected free agency rather than accept the Triple-A assignment. The club announced the roster moves and further updates were expected.
