Gavin Stone and River Ryan are expected to return from injury but are not projected to begin the season in the Dodgers' Opening Day rotation. Stone led the team in innings during the 2024 title season. River Ryan could be a top pitching prospect if fully healthy. The Dodgers currently have six rotation spots occupied by Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow, Roki Sasaki and Emmet Sheehan. Sasaki and Sheehan are the most likely candidates to yield spots, but Sheehan's late-season dominance and Sasaki's strong relief postseason work make their placements uncertain.
