Despite meticulously planning a solo trip to Valencia, Spain, unexpected events led to an unanticipated adventure. Missing the scheduled sunset boat ride due to a wrong bus led to a visit to a vintage record store instead. The author reflects on the experience, revealing the joys of spontaneity and embracing unexpected opportunities, highlighting the flexibility of travel even amidst significant planning. This shift allowed for an enriching, albeit unplanned, experience that added depth to the trip.
I thought I'd covered all my bases, but little did I know, some redirection would be necessary.
Unfortunately, I got on the wrong bus, and after unsuccessful attempts to remedy the situation, I missed the tour - not quite the exciting kickoff I'd planned for.
I remembered I'd read about a cool vintage record store in the Benimaclet district called Kultural Grooves and jumped on the next city bus.
The vinyl finds were amazing - I was even allowed to DJ and play my records before I purchased them.
