Panthers expect G Hunt to start playoff opener
"We're not putting him out there part time,"
"If he's playing, he's playing. He's fired up to help his teammates."
"He moves people,"
"He loves the game. He gives it his all. So those are the guys you want on your team."
Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales is very optimistic that right guard Robert Hunt will return for Saturday's NFC wild-card game after a Week 2 torn biceps. Hunt was a full participant in practice all week and will be listed as questionable on the final injury report, with Canales expecting him to start if active. Austin Corbett would be first off the bench. Offensive coordinator Brad Idzik and running back Chuba Hubbard highlighted Hunt's athleticism, energy and ability to move defenders, traits expected to boost a struggling rushing attack.
