On Sunday, Nov. 23, Melrose Avenue will host a car-free CicLAvia from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., stretching from Vermont to Fairfax and recreating Hawkins, Ind., from Stranger Things. The event is organized in partnership with the Netflix series to promote the show's upcoming final season. Fans are encouraged to dress in '80s attire such as neon, leg warmers and windbreakers. The route has no official start or finish, allowing participants to move at their own pace and patronize local businesses. Food offerings include over-the-top lattes, French baguettes, Filipino barbecue, an iconic hot dog stand, vegan ice cream, Uzbek cuisine and more. Fifteen food and drink stops are highlighted along the route.
