"Shohei Ohtani set a new Los Angeles Dodgers franchise record with 135 runs scored this season. Ohtani broke his own L.A. franchise mark from last year. Ohtani achieved the feat Sunday by scoring in the ninth inning for his 135th run of the season, which is also most in the Majors. He already had become the only player in Dodgers franchise history to twice score 120 or more runs in a single season."
"Still within reach for Ohtani is the all-time Dodgers record for most runs scored in one season. That currently belongs to Hub Collins, who scored 148 runs for Brooklyn in 1890. Another L.A. Dodgers record that Ohtani could break this season is walks. He currently is 103 walks, which is not far behind Jim Wynn's record of 110 that was set in 1975. Eddie Stanky holds the overall Dodgers record with 148 walks while with Brooklyn in 1945."
Ohtani scored 135 runs this season, a new Los Angeles Dodgers franchise record and the most in the majors. He twice has scored 120 or more runs in a single season, the only player in Dodgers history to do so. Ohtani reached 100 home runs with the Dodgers faster than any teammate, doing so in 294 games compared with Gary Sheffield's 399. He leads the National League in slugging (.612), OPS (1.007), extra-base hits (78) and total bases (341), and ranks second in home runs (49) and walks (103). His 49th homer traveled 454 feet, the longest by a Dodger this season. He remains within reach of franchise marks for single-season runs (148) and walks (110).
