The Getty Villa reopened on Friday for the first time since the devastating Palisades fire in January. Closed since January 7, the museum itself remained undamaged, but the surrounding grounds experienced extensive damage. After nearly six months of repairs, the Villa is launching a new exhibit, "The Kingdom of Pylos," featuring over 230 Messenian art pieces and artifacts, many of which are making their U.S. debut. The limited hours for visitation are Friday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
