The Los Angeles Dodgers strengthened the roster with Kyle Tucker and Edwin Díaz but have yet to finalize a deal with Kiké Hernández. Hernández has signed consecutive one-year contracts since returning in 2023 and contributed to two World Series titles. Hernández remains unsigned largely because of offseason left elbow surgery, with expectations that he and the Dodgers will eventually agree on a new contract. Miguel Rojas has stayed in regular contact and believes Hernández will return, though he likely will not be ready until a couple months into the season.
