Kiké Hernández is on a rehab assignment and could rejoin the Los Angeles Dodgers as early as next week after sidelining with a left elbow sprain. He went 2-for-3 in his second rehab game with the Comets and played center field, which may signal outfield usage upon return. Hernández posted a .195 batting average this season with eight home runs, 22 RBIs and a .626 OPS. He has historically produced stronger postseason numbers, slashing .294/.357/.451 with an .808 OPS. Hyeseong Kim also began a rehab assignment, and additional injured players are expected back in coming weeks.
