Dodgers' Dalton Rushing Carried Off Field After Suffering Leg Injury
"Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Dalton Rushing has been forced to exit Friday's game against the Baltimore Orioles after fouling a ball off his leg. Rushing immediately fell to the ground in immense pain and couldn't put any weight on his right leg as he was carried off the field. Here's a video of the play: Rushing is currently getting an opportunity as the Dodgers' starting catcher with Will Smith out."
"Without Rushing and Smith, the Dodgers only have Ben Rortvedt as a catching option on the roster. Smith isn't expected to be able to play until sometime next week, so the Dodgers will hope Rushing's injury isn't as bad as it looked. If Rushing is also out, the Dodgers will have to find another catcher to join Rortvedt on the roster."
