Dodger Stadium among new venues selected for 2028 L.A. Olympics
Briefly

The LA28 organizing committee revealed an updated venue plan for the 2028 Olympics, with nearly all event locations disclosed. Major events will occur in three central hubs across Los Angeles, promoting local engagement and development. Mayor Karen Bass emphasized the opportunity for showcasing the city's neighborhoods while supporting local businesses and enhancing infrastructure. Baseball will occur downtown alongside boxing, while new events like rhythmic gymnastics and cricket have secured venues. These developments underline LA's commitment to hosting a dynamic and inclusive Olympic Games.
This plan brings the Games to all corners of our city like never before - from the Sepulveda Basin to the iconic shores of Venice Beach, our world-famous neighborhoods as well as our hidden gems will be on full display for all to experience and enjoy.
In the downtown core, baseball joins boxing, which will have preliminary rounds at the Peacock Theater and finals at Crypto.com Arena.
The third major L.A. Olympic hub in the Sepulveda Basin officially added 3x3 basketball and modern pentathlon Tuesday to the recreation center that will host BMX and skateboarding.
All five of the new sports proposed for the L.A. Games now have venues as squash will make its Olympic debut at the Universal Studios lot.
