AI helps powers Cork expansion of leading financial management firm Empyrean
Empyrean Solutions is expanding its business in Cork through a new R&D project based on Lavitt's Quay. The project will deliver solutions that measure financial risk and provide insights using AI and machine-learning techniques. It will focus on financial performance across multiple risk disciplines, including financial planning, credit loss estimation, loan behaviour analysis, and finance persona-based insights. The resulting capabilities will be integrated into the Empyrean platform used by banks and credit unions. The project is supported by IDA Ireland and the Irish government, and the company plans to increase its workforce to 40 this year. Empyrean Ireland began operations in 2018 and has scaled team size and software development projects in parallel.
