Ezra has launched an AI-driven full-body MRI screening service in the UK, allowing for early cancer detection in just one hour. The procedure covers 13 organs and offers additional scans for lung and heart diseases. As cancer rates rise, particularly among younger demographics, early detection is emphasized to improve treatment outcomes. The company aims to make comprehensive cancer monitoring both fast and affordable, reducing costs significantly in the future, and focusing on accessible care for those at higher risk.
Their AI-powered scans currently last an hour and cover 13 organs, with the added option of an extra lung CT scan and heart disease screening.
Cancer Research UK reports a 24 per cent increase in cancer diagnoses among people in their 40s and 50s since 1995.
Ezra say their mission is to shift this dynamic by making AI-powered early screening more accessible to those who may benefit from proactive monitoring of the disease.
