What happens to a small town when its football club is relegated?
Briefly

Ross County faced relegation from the Scottish Premiership after a 4-2 defeat against Livingston. This loss impacts Dingwall's local economy since businesses thrive on the influx of fans from bigger teams like Celtic and Rangers. Pub owners like Raffael Santos and Mike Murray express concerns over the financial strain that the Championship may impose. While there is hope for a swift return to the Premiership, local establishments are bracing for a significantly reduced revenue as they depend on matchday crowds to survive, especially through the quieter winter tourist months.
"A lot of the town's businesses survive from big games like Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen," Mr Santos said. "We'll need to work hard to make the business keep going, but hopefully next year they are back into the Scottish premier league."
"We got coaches of supporters booked in - like Hearts, Aberdeen and Hibs. They'd tend to phone two-three weeks before a game. We could have 150 to 200 supporters through in the function room, and a good Saturday was a boost to the club."
"Football fans usually just stay one night but sometimes make a weekend out of it. Our bar and restaurant host away and home supporters."
