
Bridget Moran (née Doherty) passed away on Wednesday, May 20, bringing deep sadness to the Oulart and Enniscorthy communities. Originally from Glenmore, Kilkenny, she built a life in The Ballagh, Enniscorthy, marked by joy, care, and involvement in sport. She was a much-respected nurse and a dedicated community member. Oulart the Ballagh Camogie Club credited her with decades of service, including first aid on sidelines, committee work, children’s officer duties, fundraising, and constant support. The Oulart Women’s Society described her as a pivotal member who helped many people and always greeted others with a smile. Tributes also emphasized her role as a “second mammy” to players and her pride in her family.
