Hurst Primary has been awarded the title of Bexley Eco Primary School of the Year 2025 during the Schools Green Awards, which highlighted 11 schools for their environmental initiatives. Other winners included St Catherine's Catholic School for Girls as the Bexley Eco Secondary School of the Year and Parkway Primary receiving the Eco Innovation Award. Each winning school received funding from Cory to support eco projects. The awards aimed to engage young people with green spaces and environmental consciousness, highlighted by hands-on workshops at the ceremony.
