The family of Ola Raji, who was murdered a decade ago, has renewed an appeal for information to help identify his killers. Ola was shot and stabbed while cycling home after watching a football match. His sisters stated that this anniversary serves as a painful reminder of their loss and the absence of Ola in their family gatherings. They, along with the police, emphasize the importance of community safety and urge anyone with information to come forward, as the perpetrators may strike again.
Ola's sisters emphasized that even the smallest piece of evidence from witnesses could lead to justice, as 'the people who did this once could carry out similar attacks again.'
Det Ch Insp Alex Gammampila highlighted that Ola was 'an innocent man, in the wrong place at the worst time,' reiterating the impact of his murder on the community.
