Remember Sarah Everard at This Clapham Vigil

"The vigil, which has been organised with permission from Lambeth Parks and with the knowledge of people close to Sarah, will include a minute of silence. People are able to lay flowers if they wish, with the organisers coordinating the respectful clearing of flowers with guidance from the park."

A memorial vigil is being held at Clapham Common on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at 6:30pm to commemorate Sarah Everard five years after her death and remember all women and girls killed through violence. Organized with permission from Lambeth Parks and in consultation with people close to Sarah, the event will feature a minute of silence and allow attendees to lay flowers. The gathering is designed as a peaceful, non-political moment of remembrance open to the public. Organizers will coordinate respectful flower clearing following park guidance. Funds raised support Solace Women's Aid, a London charity providing assistance to women and children affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.
