Police seal off area around Parliament after suspicious package found near House of Lords

The Metropolitan Police have declared the incident involving a suspicious package near the House of Lords as non-suspicious. Following the investigation at Victoria Tower Gardens, the police confirmed that the package was safe, leading to the reopening of the area. Roads that had been closed around the parliamentary estate were reopened, and normal access to College Green has been restored as of this morning. The incident was reported at approximately 11:37 am.
