This year, Croydon reported an increase in the number of students securing their preferred secondary school placements, with 91% receiving one of their top three choices. This figure slightly exceeds last year's statistics as well as the London average. Additionally, there was a 1% increase in the number of students receiving their second choice. A total of 4,422 applications were made online, with offers being released on March 3. Parents have until March 17 to accept or decline the offered places.
We're delighted to see the high number of our students getting one of their preferred choices of schools again this year.
The number of pupils receiving one of their first three preferred schools remains high at 91 percent, slightly above last year's figure.
