Briefly

Roy Pratt, who passed away at age 86, was honored in a moving funeral procession and memorial ceremony on June 13. The event, starting at the Imps' base in East Ham, showcased a guard of honour by the team, along with numerous attendees transported via double-decker buses and motorcycles. At St Margaret's Church, emotional tributes reflected on Roy's life as a military veteran and mentor who touched the lives of over 2,500 children. The service culminated with significant personal eulogies, including a heartfelt tribute from former Imp Jamie Waller, emphasizing Roy's enduring legacy.
"Roy, your service is complete. You served your country. You served your church. You served all of us. Your legacy lives on, in the Imps, in the lives you've touched, and in the people we are because of you."
"The ceremony closed with a rendition of the Last Post by a trumpeter, a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated his life to service and mentorship."
