London councillor apologises after his Lamborghini was found parked in disabled bay twice without blue badge

I will therefore be contributing 160 to the Mayor's chosen charities and have offered my resignation as the Chair of the Licensing and General Purposes Committee."

He apologised, offered his resignation as Chair of the Licensing and General Purposes Committee, and will voluntarily donate £160 to the Mayor's charities rather than be fined. The Labour Group investigated, accepted his apology and resignation, reminded him of the high standards expected and gave formal advice on future conduct. He will remain a Labour councillor and 2026 candidate, lose an £8,322 committee top-up and retain a £12,730 basic councillor allowance.
