"Despite an extensive search for the mystery Bexley millionaire, I can confirm that the ticket-holder did not come forward to claim their Lotto prize and has now unfortunately missed out on this life-changing sum of money."
"The money will now benefit good causes and add to the £33m raised each week for national lottery-funded projects, several of which can be found in the Bexley area."
A resident of Bexley, south-east London, failed to claim a £10.6m lottery jackpot before the 180-day deadline. Despite extensive searches, no valid claim was made for the ticket purchased on 4 October last year. The jackpot will be redirected to support good causes, contributing to the £33m raised weekly for national lottery-funded projects. Notably, several projects in Bexley, such as the Exchange Erith and You and Me Happy Family Children's Disability Trust, will benefit from these funds.
