Wolfgang Van Halen's Creed Commitment Forces Him to Back Out of Black Sabbath Concert
Briefly

Wolfgang Van Halen had to withdraw from the highly anticipated 'Back to the Beginning' concert featuring Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne due to his band's ongoing commitment as a support act for Creed's summer tour. In a radio interview, he expressed his disappointment yet enthusiasm for the concert, stating he had to back out because the schedules were too close. Despite not being able to attend, he praised legendary guitarists Ozzy has worked with, displaying his admiration for the contributions of Randy Rhoads and Tony Iommi.
I, unfortunately, had to back out because the Creed tour starts the day after, and I wouldn't be able to pull it off - unfortunately. I'm very excited to watch it, but I unfortunately had to back out.
I'm really bad at picking, 'cause that almost implies you don't like another one in comparison. And I feel like Randy [Rhoads] was amazing, but you can't not give cred to [Black Sabbath's] Tony [Iommi] being the legend and groundbreaking genre creator he was - and is. So I love 'em all.
