Tricky's upcoming album, Different When It's Silent, will be released on July 17 through his False Idols label. The album was recorded in France and Bristol, featuring collaborator Marta Złakowska. This marks Tricky's 15th studio album and his first in six years. Initially intended as a side project, his manager Alan McGee encouraged him to release it as a Tricky album. The first single, 'Out of Place,' showcases a rock influence with Tricky and Marta collaborating. A UK/EU tour is also scheduled for spring and summer.
