The Pogues announced a 40th anniversary expanded reissue of their influential 1985 album Rum Sodomy & the Lash, which will be available on October 24th. The reissue will include 2-CD and 2-LP editions featuring the original album along with additional B-sides, the Poguetry in Motion EP, a BBC session, and live recordings. Among the new material are live tracks from a 1987 Glasgow concert and a rough mix of a Poguetry in Motion outtake. Elvis Costello produced the album, which is recognized as a landmark in Celtic rock and punk music.
