Following their dinner, the three musicians engaged in an impromptu jam session at Lifeson's house, where they started with a simple blues riff before venturing into more complex musical explorations. Lifeson expressed his enjoyment of playing with such talented musicians, noting their collective enthusiasm and the incredible musical journey they shared. This memorable evening coincided with Metallica's performances in Toronto for their 'M72 World Tour.'
"They came over after dinner and we played for a few hours, and it was great," Lifeson said, explaining that the trio locked into a simple blues vamp before getting more adventurous.
"But when you play with great musicians like those guys are, places you go is, it's just unbelievable. It's so remarkable. And God, I loved every second that we did that."
