Rock guitar great is opening for himself on latest concert tour
"Zakk Wylde is one of the finest guitarists in all of hard rock and metal. And Bay Area fans have the chance to catch him not just once, but twice in the same night. That's because Wylde is opening up for himself on his current tour, which features two of his cool metal outfits Black Label Society and Zakk Sabbath."
"Black Label Society is the headliner and rightfully so, given how much worthy metal music this band has delivered since originally forming in Los Angeles in the late '90s. Sure, fans will want to hear all the old Black Label Society favorites at the Warfield. Yet, hopefully the group will also use the opportunity to nicely showcase material from its 12th studio album Engines of Demolition which hits shelves at the end of the month."
"Zakk Sabbath, as one might expect from the clever name, is a Black Sabbath tribute and a really great one at that. Wylde has a lot of experience handling Black Sabbath material, given that he spent years working as the guitarist in the solo band for Sabbath co-founder Ozzy Osbourne."
Zakk Wylde, a renowned hard rock and metal guitarist, is performing a unique double-bill concert at The Warfield in San Francisco on March 14. Black Label Society, Wylde's primary band formed in Los Angeles in the late 1990s, headlines the evening and will showcase material from their upcoming 12th studio album, Engines of Demolition. Zakk Sabbath, a Black Sabbath tribute band, opens the show, allowing Wylde to perform material from his years as Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist. Dark Chapel, a Las Vegas rock project featuring Black Label Society guitarist-vocalist Dario Lorina, kicks off the evening. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. with tickets available through axs.com.
