Police issue CCTV of robbers who pistol-whipped music fan after he left Wireless Festival
"Detectives are hunting two robbers who pistol-whipped a reveller after he left this summer's Wireless Festival in north London. They threatened and assaulted the victim, who was sat in a vehicle, by hitting him in the head with a firearm and demanding his jewellery, before stealing 200 in cash and a pair of sunglasses. Officers said what should have been a carefree and enjoyable day at the Finsbury Park event was instead ruined by a vicious robbery."
"On Monday, July 14, a man was viciously attacked in Holloway. It is extremely important that we speak to those in the images, so we are able to determine exactly what happened - and to track down a possible firearm. What should have been a carefree and enjoyable day was instead ruined by a vicious robbery involving a firearm. We believe that many people may have been in the area at the time of the attack either attending Wireless or passing through the area"
Two men attacked a festivalgoer after he left the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, pistol-whipping him and demanding his jewellery. The assailants stole £200 in cash and a pair of sunglasses while the victim sat in a vehicle. London Ambulance Service treated the victim at the scene for serious head injuries and he was taken to hospital where medics assessed his condition as neither life-changing nor life-threatening. One suspect is described as black, about 6ft, slim, in his 30s, riding a distinctive yellow electric bike. The second suspect is described as black, about 6ft, average build, in all-black clothing with face covering. Police are appealing for witnesses and information to identify the two men and locate a possible firearm.
