Norwegian punks Hammok sign to Sargent House, prep new album: hear "The Scene"
"Everything was sort of a natural response to how good the tour was going, and all the people we had met up to that point. I wanted to capture and directly address the situation we were in - meeting people for the first time who give a shit about their community and the music around them."
Hammok, a Norwegian punk trio, joined Sargent House Records and released their second full-length album titled 'When Does This Place Become Our Scene' on June 5. The album was produced by the band's singer and guitarist Tobias Osland. The lead single, 'The Scene,' draws inspiration from the band's European tour, where they encountered passionate community members and musicians. Osland describes the song as a natural response to their positive touring experience, aiming to directly address and celebrate the people they met who genuinely care about their local music scenes and communities.
