Havering Museum recently commemorated its 15th year since opening, along with the 25th anniversary of its volunteers group. Located in the former Romford Brewery Social Club, the museum has showcased Havering's heritage through dedicated volunteer efforts since 2013. The celebration featured civic leaders, including the deputy mayor and a prominent historian appointed as the first patron, with music by the Romford Ceilidh Band concluding the festivities. Museum chairman Andrew Curtin and volunteer Ellen Owen highlighted the significance of community and the museum's future.
"It was a memorable day and we are all confident that the next 15 years will be equally memorable." - Andrew Curtin, Chairman of the Havering Museum.
"We continue to be more than a museum. We are a community of people celebrating Havering's heritage." - Ellen Owen.
