Kurt Vile announces new LP & tour, shares "Chance to Bleed"
"'This is my 'bringing it all back home to Philly' record,' Kurt says. 'I'm treating it like my last record. I put everything into it. It's my best vocal record. It's my best electric guitar record. It's my most organic record, made in the comfort of my own zone.'"
"'Chance to Bleed,' the first single, features guest vocals from Natalie Hoffman, Ethan Buckler, and Greg Cartwright, who also plays lead guitar on the track."
"The tour includes shows with The Sadies, Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band, and others, with tickets going on sale April 10 at 10 AM local time."
Kurt Vile will release his new album titled 'Philadelphia's been good to me' on May 29 via Verve. He recorded much of the album in his basement studio, collaborating with various musicians. Vile describes this album as his best vocal and electric guitar record, emphasizing its organic nature. The first single, 'Chance to Bleed,' features guest vocals and a video with cameos.
