Galway’s June Bank Holiday weekend brings good weather and a range of activities across the county. Salthill Fives returns to Salthill Park in Galway city for its 43rd edition, drawing over 10,000 people and featuring 64 senior teams competing for the Luke Nolan Trophy, alongside local food vendors and family-friendly activities. Headfest runs from Wednesday, May 27 to Monday, June 1 in Headford, offering music, sport, community events, and local enterprise, with a celebration of the River Corrib. The Kinvara Plein Air Festival takes place from Saturday, May 30 to Monday, June 1 in Kinvara and The Burren, bringing over 150 artists for outdoor observational painting, workshops, daily paint outs, social events, and a Charity Paint Out on Monday.
