Hunt for suspect after priceless' 280-year-old violin stolen from Islington pub

A priceless violin, crafted in Florence in 1740 and valued at over £150,000, was stolen from The Marquess Tavern in Islington on February 18. This violin belongs to a member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, who reported the incident to the Metropolitan Police. Authorities released CCTV footage of a suspect to aid in the investigation. PC Michael Collins emphasized the violin's tremendous value to its owner and urged the public to come forward with any information to help recover it.
We’ve been working hard to try and locate the suspect and are releasing this CCTV in an effort to help identify them as soon as possible.
It is incredibly precious, and for the victim, it's priceless. Please help us find the person responsible and have the violin returned to its rightful owner.
